Headache

Pain (e.g. pounding, pressure, throbbing, sharp, piercing, achy) anywhere in the head or neck. Several types of headaches include frontal head pain and identifying the type experienced that can help to determine the best treatment.
A headache can cause pain at any place in the head, however, a frontal lobe headache tends pain in general areas such as the forehead and temples.

In spite of the name, a frontal lobe headache is infrequently related to that part of the brain, and it is not a condition in itself.

Each of the headache listed below is probably to cause pain in the front of the head.

  • Tension headache
  • Eyestrain
  • Cluster headaches
  • Sinus headaches
  • Giant cell arteritis

Many types of headaches can cause pain in front of the head. Much of the time, this pain is the result of a tension headache.
