What's the opportunity?
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in drivingrevenue growth for the Intercom Sales organization through effective pipeline generation. Our role is
to lay the foundation for Health Gennie Sales by engaging with prospects and customers, and helping them
understand the value of Health Gennie through creative & engaging prospecting.

What will I be doing?
- Creating and prioritizing strategic target account lists.
- Generating new business pipeline for Account Executives through cold calling, email, social etc.
- Following up and creating value to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
- Providing a great experience for Intercom’s prospective customers.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers.
- Demonstrating an ability to attract new customers.
- Working with cross functional teams to improve business processes.
- Engaging in team development and mentoring.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Executive – Healthcare Partnerships to drive our growth through on-ground field activities. This role involves creating and managing partnerships with insurance companies and other relevant organizations within student communities to promote and generate business for our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and establish strategic partnerships with insurance companies, student-focused organizations, and other relevant institutions.
- Conduct field visits, meetings, and presentations to prospective partners.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster long-term collaborations.
- Promote Health Gennie's services and offerings to partner networks, especially within student communities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership goals with business objectives.
- Track and report field activities, partnership progress, and lead generation efforts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Represent the company at relevant events, fairs, and exhibitions targeting students or insurance sectors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (field experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in the field.
- Willingness to travel locally as required.
- Prior experience working with insurance companies or in the healthcare/education sectors is a plus.
